9005 HID KITS also known as HB3 are commonly found in high beam applications although rare they are also used as low beams on some cars and trucks. Upgrading your high beams or low beams to HID Lights improves visibility creating a safer driving experience especially down dark roads and highways. Converting your stock halogen bulbs to HID Lights will increase your light output by 300%. Included in your 9005 HID Kit is a pair (2 pieces) of HID Bulbs and a pair (2 pieces) of HID Ballasts. If your vehicle daytime running lights are combined with your high beams that you will need to purchase a relay harness in order to gain functionality of both your high beams and daytime running lights.
